‘I lived and worked on a farm looking after chickens and doing maintenance work. The first night I planned to stay up late to see if the norther lights would show. I went in and out for hours all night hoping to see them. At 11.30pm I saw a tiny green tail flickering about the hills and within a minute the tail exploded into a stream that eventually trailed across the sky, horizon to horizon' - Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
